Rodríguez & Rodríguez
"Your Caribbean Connection"

Thank you for taking the time to peruse our Caribbean Jewelry website and to learn a little bit about our story and the jewels of Dominican Republic. In the small seaside town of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic our dreams came true. First and foremost we took the vows of matrimony along the oceanside in 2008 and from there we began our journey, blending two cultures and lives together and learning and appreciating each other’s worlds.

In fall of 2009 we learned that one of our dear friends was hand crafting beautiful jewelry. Her designs using glass stones and crystals combined with .925 silver were stunning and her artistry inspired me (Colleen) to take a small collection to Canada to help her out with sales. The jewelry captures beautifully the color and vibrancy of the Caribbean. The colors of the turquoise blue water, the limes, mangos, avocados, passion fruit and papayas, are all represented in the polished stones and designs. We continue working with the talents of the Dominican Republic  today designing new pieces that reflect the charm of the Dominican Republic.

Ramon, a native of the Dominican Republic, recognized the opportunity to share jewelry made from larimar (a stone found only on a 1 km square piece of a mountain in the Dominican Republic) as well as Dominican Amber and Conch and has since worked closely with artisans to create new and unique pieces set in .925 silver. Together, we have formed our jewelry company, Rodriguez & Rodriguez Caribbean Jewelry
bringing beautiful pieces of the Caribbean to Canada, specifically Saskatchewan, where we reside 6 months of the year. Now with our online shopping service, we are able to offer these pieces to the world.

If you have travelled to the Caribbean, you will agree it is paradise. If you have not, perhaps you can enjoy a tiny jewel from the Caribbean Sea from Rodriquez & Rodriquez Caribbean Jewelry. The dance, the music, the fiestas come alive in each handcrafted original piece.

Colleen and Ramon Rodriguez.
